Brittney Jones, infidelity hot for Ashton Kutcher, lights Demi’s ire

You read just a few weeks ago “Britteny Jones, hot for Ashton Kutcher, still touts infidelity“ and this seems to have set off an explosive marriage mess between Demi and Ashton. Despite all the loving public displays of affection, the National Enquirer is blaring the headline, based on talking with psychologists, DEMI & ASHTON DIVORCE
The paper says:
“After Ashton was recently accused of cheating by Brittney Jones, a young Demi-ish look-a-like, cracks in the couple’s relationship became obvious when a neighbor heard them screaming at each other.
“Demi was yelling at the top of her lungs, ‘Go to hell you bastard!’” the neighbor said.
“Later on, I heard a door slamming and Demi sobbing.”
With all of the gossip about Ashton Kutcher’s alleged cheating with hottie Britteny Jones, is it any wonder that the marriage might be experiencing some tough times, but on the rocks?
The Internet was ablaze this week with rumors that the latest in a string of unfaithful men is Ashton Kutcher.

After the story first surfaced Demi seemed to be fighting back — tweeting a photo of them in bed together on their 5th anniversary and then the date scene.I’m calling this the open date because the two of them went to a very public place — the Archlight Theater — and apparently left hand in hand. Given all the rumors, why did Ashton tussle with the paparazzi? Me thinks they are both protesting too much.

Advice for wives and lovers:
It may be time for the two of them to stop the Tweeting, stop the PDAs, stop trying to prove to the public that Britteny Jones is just a boozing hottie — which I do believe the National Enquirer may be right about — and focus on each other and their marriage.
- Look for love signs instead of cheating signs
- If you suspect cheating, TALK to your husband, calmly and kindly out of concern for the marriage
- NEVER stoop to snooping. Call a marriage counselor first for advice

Inflated infidelity numbers can harm marriages

Let’s be clear on one point — Internet infidelity statistics are generally wrong. The danger of wildly high “he’s cheating” figures is the threat it poses to marriages, giving wives the notion that they should always be on the look-out for a cheating spouse.
Compiling accurate statistics regarding infidelity is a difficult task and many so-called statistics are simply called “shock statistics” by experts such as Prof. Edward O. Laumann of the University of Chicago. He is also the analyst for the Global Study of Sexual Attitudes and Behavior, a survey of 27,500 men and women 40 to 80 years old in 29 countries.
While he acknowledges there are many grey areas with infidelity — for instance if a spouse has a partner with a severe medical condition — in general he agrees with interviews from the National Science Foundation surveys that put the number of men cheating at about 20 percent over their lifetime!
With regard to 20 percent of men who cheat over their lifetime, “One person may cheat only once in 20 years, while another may cheat every year for 20 years. Exact figures are difficult to ascertain,” says Tom W. Smith, Ph.D., director of the General Social Survey (GSS) of the National Opinion Research Center (NORC).
I also asked him about seasonal infidelity and especially summer infidelity and claims that 50 to 70 percent of men cheat.
He not only said he had never seen figures “that relate infidelity to season of the year,” but added, “There is no evidence I’ve seen to back up the 50 to 70 percent figure.”
The problem with collecting accuate numbers
- Personal interviews are widely known to be affected by “the pleasing pattern” in which a person interviewed gives the interviewer the answers that he or she is seeking in order to please.
- Lack of quality control — even 50,000 infidelity interviews by just one or two people can be wrong
- Internet surveys rarely if ever control for accuracy — Study on mothers who cheat; have a look; survey or sham?
The most consistent source for accuracy: Unbiased interviews conducted from the National Science Foundation’s GSS by NORC at the University of Chicago.
Numbers involved: About 2,000 people a year are surveyed using strict guidelines. Over 15,000 have been interviewed since 1988,
Who is surveyed: A nationally representative sample of 300-400 neighborhoods all across America — divided into 8 sections of the country. The suveys are designed to meet the rigorous standards of validity and reliability.

Annette Bening and Warren Beatty: split rumors flying

With the stress of a daughter who wants to have a sex change operation, what marriage would not have tension? But in this case, there is the for and against factor. Being is being supportive, whereas Beatty is heartbroken. As such, rumors of a split have been flying about.
The New York Post said “Reporters at the Deauville Film Festival in France — where Bening was promoting “The Kids Are All Right,” the movie in which she plays a lesbian mother — were shocked when organizers warned them not to ask the actress any questions about her family, and specifically about her husband, Warren Beatty.
“The blackout immediately amped up speculation by the press corps of an impending split,” said one journalist. Annette Bening has her own ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy at …
But the Toronto Sun says, “A spokesperson for Annette Bening has dismissed fresh reports the actress has split from husband Warren Beatty. The longtime Hollywood couple has dodged rumours of a break-up for weeks following Beatty’s noticeable absence from his wife’s promotional tour for her latest movie, The Kids Are All Right.
“Last month, National Enquirer editors went as far as to suggest an impending separation was sparked by disagreements about their 18-year-old daughter Kathlyn – who allegedly plans to undergo gender reassignment surgery. The couple has yet to confirm or deny the claim.” Bening denies Beatty split reports – Toronto Sun

Rachel Uchitel, named as a mistress to Tiger Woods and David Boreanaz, just cannot seem to stay out of the news or away from other women’s husbands. In fact, this love addiction seems to have been one of the reasons that she ended up in Dr. Drew Pinsky’s Celebrity Rehab.

“RadarOnline.com reports that Tiger Woods thwarted his ex-mistress Rachel Uchitel’s $300,000 payday to appear nude in a men’s magazine by threatening to overturn her multi-million dollar settlement with him, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
“Playboy wanted to feature Tiger’s secret girlfriend, and feature her on the cover with a direct mention of the golfer.
“Publishers also floated the idea of a nude Uchitel posing alongside a tiger cub.”
Tiger Woods, Tilda, Rachel, and Elin
There was an earlier report that Momma Woods was in Melbourne with her son while he was having a high time with Uchitel and this may have been one of the reasons for the icy relationship between Tilda and Elin. I wondered if Kutilda Woods had been hoping secretly that Tiger’s games would ruin a marriage with her feisty daughter-in-law. Uchitel has been in the news also because of a story from the National Enquirer that she and Tiger Woods would marry. Here are my reasons for “Never”
1) She took hush money: As TMZ reported in March: 10 Million Reasons Tiger Was Afraid of Rachel | TMZ.com (What man enjoys being taken?)
2) She leaked info to the press: As of July 20th Radar Online reported she was leaking information to the press:” RadarOnline.com has learned Ambien is the drug of choice that landed her there.
“We’ve also learned that she did the drug with Tiger Woods, using it to enhance sex.
“In email messages between Uchitel and Woods, obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Tiger asks for Ambien and Rachel says she’s worried about being addicted.
3) She is part of Tiger’s problems, not part of a solution: As a person who has spent a serious amount of time in rehab, Tiger Woods seems to have his heart back in the right place, on the golf course. He is going forward, not back.

As I noted in the article, I am putting my money on no contact between the two after the divorce.

The Tiger finds his Cougar; could be love for Tiger Woods

Now that the divorce is over, the charges of infidelity has subsided, Tiger Woods is still keeping us guessing.
We knew it wouldn’t be long before Tiger Woods found himself with a woman who was mature and understanding. And according to ShowBiz spy, it has already happened. It seems that he is spending his time with a former NYC ad executive, in her mid-fifties divorced from a Texas financier.
“They’re a great couple, I’ve never seen Tiger so in love,” a source said.
“This might be exactly what Tiger needs. His ill fated affairs behind Elin’s back are long behind him.” ShowBizSpy

As a woman who was involved in the sports world — working as a nanny for golfer Jesper Parnevik for almost 4 years before her marriage to Tiger Woods – how is it that Elin Nordegren was so unaware about infidelity and the game?
Is a wife always the last to know or the last to admit that it could happen to her?
Lemondrop asked the pointed question just last year:
“When former NFL star Steve McNair was shot to death by his 20-year-old mistress, his wife and mother of his four children claimed she knew nothing about his infidelity. But after reading The Secret Code of Sports Mistresses, which quotes a CNN statistic that 80 to 90 percent of pro athletes cheat, we wonder if any woman could be totally ignorant of the possibility.

It is being reported today that the divorce between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren was finalized yesterday in Bay County Circuit Court, Florida.
The couple will be involved in shared parenting. And the Washington Post says that no other details were released but that they have links to copies of court papers from TMZ.
As I wrote on August 10th in the news we are still seeing completely speculative reports based on leaks regarding who gets what. But the more important question is this — why do we care?

Fantasia and lover to shack up despite loss of affection lawsuit

What are Fantasia Barrino and her married lover Antwaun Cook thinking? The gossip is that they are planning on moving in together.
Her family is opposed to this entire arrangement as he is still a married man. And to complicate matters, her boyfriend moved out of his home in North Carolina, one of the seven states where alienation of affection laws are in place.
The seven states include: Hawaii, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah.
Keep in mind that a marriage is never over until the divorce papers are signed. When someone comes between a couple, it dramatically reduces the chances for a reconciliation.
