Because divorce has become so much a part of our culture, and sadly so, the public seems to have an insatiable desire to know the details of celebrity divorce.
In many ways it is a stage view of what takes place in the lives those living on Main Street. With all of the charged feelings that occur with division of property, reading about the trials and tribulations of others often falls into the ‘misery loves company’ category. But unfortunately people also fall into the “take what you can get” mode. A better method is to try to resolve one’s differences or at least come to the table with a spirit of cooperation, particularly when children are involved.
