Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren: divorce is final, parenting shared

It is being reported today that the divorce between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren was finalized yesterday in Bay County Circuit Court, Florida.
The couple will be involved in shared parenting. And the Washington Post says that no other details were released but that they have links to copies of court papers from TMZ.
As I wrote on August 10th in the news we are still seeing completely speculative reports based on leaks regarding who gets what. But the more important question is this — why do we care?
